revelations while hearing "rockstar" on the radio

ah nickelback.

how i love to loathe you.

yet, everytime i hear the song "rockstar", i am confused by you.

seemingly this song would provide just another reason for me to hate your silly band. a song about everything that is wrong with celebrity and riches. because that is all many "artists" seem to want... the music part is just what they have to do to get there.

yet, i think of every musician i know, and non-musician for that matter... and realize... do we all secretly think this?

to sell-out or not to sell-out?

do we all want brand new houses on an episode of cribs? a bathroom we can play baseball in? a king size tub big enough for ten? a credit card that's got no limits? a star on hollywood boulevard? to be great like elvis? 8 body guards to beat up debbies? to dress our asses in the latest fashions?

....................hmmm.........

in deep daydreams do we visualize the moment where we are at the pinnacle of the pyramid...
when we can finally be a huge asshole because, well at that point, we can!

have you, nickelback, made a very profound statement on the secret heart of the music business?
or even the world?
HAVE YOU?!

probably not.
so much for that thought.
but even as a lowly songwriter.
i too have indeed experienced that,
"they'll get you anything with that evil smile" moment.
haven't we all?
what does it all mean nickelback, what does it all mean?

lolz.

Obama a Tool of Bilderberg?

Victor Thorn:

As AFP has reported for years, Bilderberg has been trying since 1992 to “establish a UN tax” which would be used to finance their globalist-oriented programs. Of course, the brunt of this tax would fall on American workers, and it appears this is being spearheaded by Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. ~ Victor Thorn

On Feb. 14, 2008, an Obama-sponsored bill called the “Global Poverty Act” (S 2433) was referred to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee after passing the House. What this bill would do, in effect, is levy a global tax on the United States where an additional 0.7% of the gross national product would be earmarked to foreign aid (on top of what we already give).

If passed this year, by 2021 the U.S. would be committed to an extra $845 billion in foreign aid. Not only would the United States be under the UN’s thumb in regard to taxation, but this bill (part of the globalists’ Millennium Development Goal) would also seek to ban certain weapons, establish an international criminal court, push global warming legislation, and promote “biological diversity.”

Anyone familiar with Bilderberg sees that all of the above “buzzwords” have been part of their agenda for decades. Assisting Obama in his endeavors are two longtime Council on Foreign Relations members: Sen. Richard Lugar (R-Ind.), who has been called Obama’s mentor, and Sen. Joseph Biden (D-Del.). Both have attended secret Bilderberg meetings and have been influential in trying to ratify the UN’s Law of the Sea Treaty
(LOST).

One political commentator has stated that this bill “would effectively turn control of seven-tenths of the Earth’s surface over to the UN,” not to mention surrendering the sovereignty of our seas to them.

Obama’s popularity can be attributed to one concept: he stands for “change.” But is this the type of change that American citizens really want—to become enslaved by a UN global tax on top of the local, state and federal taxes they already pay? Obama is another political tool whose loyalties lie with those shadowy figures who sit atop the world’s control pyramid.

Victor Thorn is the co-founder of the World Independent News Group (http://www.wingtv.net/) and the author of many books about 9-11, the New World Order and, of course, the Hillary (And Bill) trilogy.

the waiting is the hardest part

so for a one year anniversary gift i got the best thing ever:
a 1948 oscar schmidt auto harp.

beat that.

needs two new strings and a serious tune-up,
but she is in great condition.
the original manual is hilarious (from 1948!!). they talk about holding it like a cigarette vendor holds his case.
this i already knew but not in that form of explanation.
it also said on a table.
i thought that was odd.
i have never played or seen one played on a table.
lap? maybe? if you're weird?

side note: barack obama is a cousin of dick cheney. impossible? no.
he is. on his whitey side. 10th cousin or something...
(you know, that whole creepy bloodline/dynasty thing, keep it all in the family)
cheney's wife talked about it on CBS.
the plan for the new world order continues!
obama is the perfect puppet in their scheme.
i just wish the world would wake the HECK up and care that the politicos and billionaires think we're all morons.

x-files 2 on friday!!!!!!!
valencia orange juice pwns.

i am not very confrontational.
especially when things deal with me.

however.

if you fuck over someone i love..
i.e: friends, family, boyfriend, whatever...
don't talk to me.
seriously...
i am too old to pretend to be nice.
so just don't.
why would you anyway?

forks

it is hard enough when we ourselves come to a turning point in life which involves a big decision.

however, it is almost more difficult to watch someone you love go through this. watch them standing at the crossroads, turning around, and taking a look back at all that brought them here... the good and the bad. they could go straight and continue on this road, although clearly they have stumbled into this position because something wasn't quite right.

they could take a left, or even a right, it's just a matter of which.

i am so frightened by the unknown that is even harder for me to break out from a normal routine than the average joe i think.

so when someone i love is about to, i worry worry worry.
whew.

blah.

on another note.
i can't bring myself to be one of those writers with a music myspace quite yet.
but, the following is a new song written while thinking of another dear friend.
no mp3 but if you want to hear feel free to ask.

Left Me With No Reason To Stay

Forgiving is an art
Forgetting takes an artist
To paint a wall that time cannot see through
You say have a heart
Yet you break mine the hardest
You've always been a catch 22

I'm sorry washes over me like rain
Puttin' out the last of this old flame
I'll be sorry for you 'til my dyin' day
'Cause you left me with no reason to stay

You say she meant nothin'
Speaks volumes for your judgement
Makes me not like me, 'cause I don't like a fool
And speaking of a fool
It takes one to know one
Just undecided who's the biggest, me or you?

I'm sorry washes over me like rain
Well tell that to your new what's her name
I'll be sorry for us 'til my dyin' day
'Cause you left me with no reason to stay
